It's possible - yes.

I'll try my best to get it implemented, it's not the most simple thing ever.

I'll look to add an option to make them appear minimised rather than appearing with the focus.

You should be able to open conversations with people who are set as away fine. I'll investigate reasons why you may not be able to. You can start a conversation with someone without clicking their name by adding the following code to the aliases section of the mIRC scripts editor: msntalk { set %msn...

This means that you installed msn for mirc in the wrong place.

It should be in c:\mirc\msn, it appears that yours is in c:\mirc.

I will add some error handling in the script to let you know about this when it happens.

This was a known problem, it should have now been fixed.

Download version 3.48 and let me know if the problem remains.

In the same way that you can't stop an MSN window flashing when a person sends a message, you can't do it with mIRC.

The earlier versions of MSN for mIRC will not work as MSN have shut down the old protocol, that is what the old version used.
