You can do that, yes, using the /msn.say command.
The syntax is /msn.say <email address> <message>

Changing your text colour
If you're familiar with hexadecimal colour codes then you can perform the following: Find the following line in msn.mrc: sockwrite -n chat. $+ $right($active,$calc($len($active)-1)) X-MMS-IM-Format: FN=Microsoft%20Sans%20Serif; EF=; CO=0; CS=1; PF=22 Replace CO=0 with CO=0000FF for red text, CO=00FF...

Re: Msn Font StyLE
Unfortunately at the moment you can't change the colour of your text that you send to people.
Sorry about this, I'll see if I can find a workaround for you.

Re: error on connecting
If you have sent me an email then I've not received it sadly. Did you send it to andy@burningimage.net?
Are you trying to connect through a proxy? Could you go into the control panel (/msncontrol) and disable the proxy?
This may help - let me know.

Re: File Transfer Problems v4.00
Yeah, that thing popping up with the other persons email address in could happen occasionally if the other person sends a number of messages very quickly. As far as the file sending problem goes, it's very likely that it is a port forwarding issue. The ports aren't automatically forwarded, you need ...

Re: File Transfer Problems v4.00
Yeah, I thought that was something I had sorted, clearly not! It can happen if someone talks to you very quickly. I assume the email address it displays is the address of the other person?

Re: File Transfer Problems v4.00
Hmm.... bugger! It worked perfectly a little while ago, but it appears microsoft have been fiddling.... I'll have to look in to it, thanks for the info. Does the other person have Windows Messenger on their PC (the version that came with Windows XP - no adverts)? It would be interesting to know if i...

Re: History location?
Conversation history? If you go to the MSN control panel you can click "view Logs" to view the logs. You can open the folder manually by typing the following in mIRC: //run $shortfn($mircdir) $+ msn/logs It depends on your PC and operating system the exact folder they're kept in, but the a...

Re: What kind of scripting we use for MSN on mIRC?
As I said before, unfortunately you can't really create scripts to work with MSN for mIRC. Well, you can, but not in the way you're hoping I don't think.
If you look in the "remote commands" section of mIRC that'll give you a good introduction to mIRC scripting.

Re: Run Scripts in mIRC for MSN
There are no scripts for MSN for mIRC.
mIRC allows third party scripts to be loaded in, MSN for mIRC is one such script.
