Discuss New Version: 3.50

Post by andyc »

Version 3.50 has just been released - download it on the site.

The latest fixes are listed below:
- /sockwrite errors eliminated
- Problems with $decode and mIRC v6.15 eliminated
- Continuous "user has left the conversation" messages in chat windows fixed

Let me know if it works, if it doesn't, why it doesn't, etc.

I rely on you guys to tell me if stuff doesn't work as well as it used to or whatever, I don't have time to test it on loads of different PC's!

If you don't like something about it, please post it here, so it can be improved.

Did the previous version work OK for you?

Try entering your password again, too.

the fonts in the chat window is always resetted to arial, no matter if you change it to somewhat else, it jumps back to default when closing and reopening a chatwindow...

Huge problem: If someone adds your name in his friends- list, MSN Mirc does not ask if you wish to accept the deal.

(I must say that this is an awesome tool, it just needs to be improved more)

Problems with 3.50

*** Authorising via SSL... (this may take a while)
*** Disconnected

This happened after updating to 3.50. Authorising didn't occur and it finally disconnected

* /renwin: invalid window (line 216, msndialog.mrc) while trying to view groups...
Thought this happened when i tried viewing groups while it was still Authorising

Same Auth problem as others posting

Also note i have it running under Win2k3 Server SP1, Mirc 6.17 + NNScript, (dont know if that makes a diff)

I havent used any previous versions, i was just recommended to it by a friend, so i tried the latest 3.50.

Also getting the Auth problem. Running it on a Win2k laptop with SP4. Got a router with firewall included. Tried manual port forwarding but no luch. Funny thing is, the first time I ran it, it worked like a charm. Today, 2 days later, I get the SLL...disconnected message.
