ummm, you CAN change the default version reply, even in a blank mirc. Simply hex the mirc.exe and remove it. been done 1000 times. I use a hexed mirc.exe
there's also now a .dll that cancels out the mirc.exe's default version reply, so it's not even necessary to hex the exe anymore. you can get the .dll on mircscripts.org
