Strange thing with convos, please read

Hi there,
I have been using this program for about a month now and I must say it is a LIFESAVER!!
Only thing I have noticed that has been a problem is whenever I join a priv convo with someone, then they invite someone else in to the convo, u can't have a priv convo with the first person. I find it a bit frustrating at times, and was wondering if anything can be done to sort this out.
